HELLA STIFF Arm Swings

After all the foot mobility, positional breathing exercises, and rolling around…now what? Happy you asked! :)

A common complaint as we get older is just how stiff we feel. And it’s a real thing…especially for me.

So, what I have for you today is a strategy that will help us loosen up and relax our body…for whatever’s next!

Rotation (aka, being able to TURN) is a necessary function to do what we want to do and love every day.

And like everything related to our health, fitness, and longevity, there’s a way to do it in a manner that’s simple, effective, and MOST IMPORTANTLY…SAFE!

As always, please remember, the BEST exercises for all of us are specific to our individual needs;)

Now, let’s get to our feet!

Here’s what you’re gonna need:

-Clear/Comfortable/Quiet space

Check out my video below. Sound ON!  🔊

🫁 BREATHING SEQUENCE:-QUIET…SLOW NASAL ONLY breathing throughout.

Here’s what you’re gonna do as DEMONSTRATED:

-Be as RELAXED as you can possibly be

-Look straight ahead

-Arms as RELAXED as possible

-Swing your torso side to side to start

-Let your arms just go along for the ride comfortably

Practice DAILY: 2-3 sets of 12 reps/side

Notice how you move and feel afterwards. Lighter? Looser?

I like to do this move first thing in the morning because it helps me wake up, but you can also use it for your prep before you do your thing.

💡 REMEMBER…REAL CHANGE requires an investment of our time, effort, and consistency in doing what’s necessary:)

Dedicated to your health and longevity,

Mike
